Ken Agress is the principal in the firm. He began his business career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen in Chicago. He then transitioned to sales representative for Honeywell/GE mainframe computer systems at a time when those systems were controlled by the accounting/finance departments.
The combination of accounting and computer mainframe experience created the opportunity to become an officer in third party equipment leasing initially computer systems and then mainly transportation equipment.
In that capacity, Ken negotiated:
- Multimillion-dollar lease agreements with major corporations in varying industries.
- Individual partnerships with larger investors interested in the tax and residual benefits.
- Limited Liability Partnerships sold through investment banking firms to groups of smaller investors
Ken is comfortable working with finance, legal and plant operations personnel. Acquiring input from all areas will develop the best possible lease
